Chloe is a costume designer with a background in art history and ethical fashion. She is graduating with an MFA in Costume Design from BU. She is interested in how dress can exist as a language capable of expressing identity and heritage across time and culture. In her work she hopes to explore clothing’s inherent potential as art, craft and an expression of personal ritual, and how this can be used to aid in storytelling of all kinds. Favorite past collaborations include BU’s Angels In America Parts I & II and The Lathe of Heaven, Bazaar Production’s Particularly, In the Heartland and Boston Opera Collaborative’s The Scarlet Ibis and La Bohéme. During her education at BU, she was drawn to the cross-cultural appeal of opera as well as new works and devised theatre. She plans to pursue work in both of these fields through connections in Boston, NYC and Washington, DC.
